12.03.2007 NUMBER OF VACATION VILLAGES CLOSE TO BULGARIA’S PAMPOROVO UP

The Pamporovo region is experiencing construction boom and the number of vacation villages there went up. A Spanish company invested in 24 two-storey houses in the region of Gorno Kremenovo, Monitor daily reported. The first 18 houses have already been set up and the village will be completed soon because of the warm weather. Another Spanish company planned the construction of 40 houses. Work will begin in the spring.

Interest in the village of Levochevo, located in the Pamporovo region, nearly doubled recently. The value of plots increased already.

Agriculture plots cost 33 to 35 euro per sq m since January.

Currently Levochevo has 167 houses. The number of permanent residents is expected to increase because of the construction boom.

China Invests in Agricultural Land in Bulgaria

The Chinese state company Tianjin Agribusiness Company made its first investment in Bulgaria, the Bulgarian Ministry of Agriculture informed today.
