Company Re-registration Deadline Extended by the Parliament
The deadline for re-registration of Bulgarian companies founded before 1.01.2008 in the online Trade Register was extended yesterday by the Bulgarian Parliament. The new term is now 31.12.2011.
The previous term was going to expire at the end of this year but it appeared impossible that all companies be registered by then. So, now all owners of Bulgarian companies who haven't managed to re-register them will have one more year to do so.
The Law on the Trade Register applicable to the activities of all Bulgarian companies, which came into force on 1.01.2008, stated that all existing companies must be registered in the new online register by 31.12.2010. This term has now been extended with 1 year. The companies that are not registered by 31.12.2011 will be removed from the register of companies in Bulgaria.
