Wealthy Russians are the most active buyers of real estates in Bansko winter resort, southern Bulgaria, and in Borovets ski resort, some 60 kilometers away from Sofia. The Russians show stronger interest in purchases of realties in Bulgaria's winter resorts than Englishmen and Irishmen.

Greeks also start buying estates in Bulgaria's winter resorts as they form about 10% of the foreign buyers.

The interest in apartments and villas in the winter resorts has intensified after Bulgaria's EU accession.

German Sky Airlines Flies to Bulgaria’s Bourgas

A new airline has entered the Bulgarian market. The Bulgarian seaside city of Bourgas welcomed the first flight of German Sky Airlines a few days ago. The airline company will have regular flights every Friday until the end of the tourist season.

The Chinese state company Tianjin Agribusiness Company made its first investment in Bulgaria, the Bulgarian Ministry of Agriculture informed today.
