Prices of Rural Properties in Bulgaria 6% Cheaper in 2Q 2011
The number of sales of rural houses in Bulgaria in 2Q 2011 remained the same as in the first quarter of 2011, an analysis of real estate agency BULGARIAN PROPERTIES reads.
The average price of sold rural houses in 2Q 2011 is 16,200 Euro, which makes a decrease of about 6%.
Most deals with rural properties are concluded in Central Bulgaria – around Plovdiv and Stara Zagora, as Bulgarian buyers are also interested in these areas. Rural houses in which buyers are most interested are priced up to 15,000 Euro or are in a very good condition and are ready to live in with prices between 25,000 and 40,000 Euro.
In the region of Bourgas (southeast Bulgaria) the average price of rural properties (excluding those close to the sea) is about 20,000 Euro. In the regions of Varna and Dobrich (northeast Bulgaria) the average price is 12,750; in the region of Yambol (southeast Bulgaria) rural properties are sold for an average of 10,440 Euro, in the region of Stara Zagora (central Bulgaria) – 15,300 Euro. In the region of Plovdiv the average price of rural houses is 13,770 Euro and in the area of Veliko Tarnovo (northeast Bulgaria) 14,250 Euro. The lowest average price of rural properties is in the area of Pleven (central northern Bulgaria) – 6,350 Euro, the statistics of BULGARIAN PROPERTIES shows.
