This property is situated in Montana area, about 17 km away from the town of Montana itself. The village is one of the most attractive in this region, with population of over 1,000 people and quite a few properties bought by foreign people. Ogosta river passes by the settlement. It is the biggest river in the North-western part of Bulgaria and flows into the Danube. Local people go fishing and sunbathing there, there are parts of it that are suitable for swimming as well.
Berkovitsa ski area is about 40 km away. According to plans a cabin lift is to be constructed from Berkovitsa to the Kom area. At the moment the area offers one ski piste with a drag lift and three tourism bases. The plans are to make the piste twice as large, and to recover some old pistes so that the total length of the ski pistes will become 15-20 kilometres long.
In the village there are several shops for food, drinks and other things from basic necessity. There is also a restaurant and a café. Another advantage is that there is a working school and a kindergarten. Last but not least, there is a railway station and public transport to the towns and villages in the region.
