Part of Belene region in Pleven Municipality, lies the village of Byala Voda. The village is situated in Northern Bulgaria and is located 220 km from Sofia. The village of Byala Voda was founded after the April uprising. Here are preserved many cultural traditions, such as the mummers with their interesting costumes near Christmas. The annual fair of the village is held on 7th November.
