FOREIGN INTEREST IN BULGARIAN PROPERTY CONTINUES

Foreigners are highly interested in the purchase of apartments along Bulgaria's southern Black Sea coast. The price for a sq m of property there varies between 550 and 950 euro. Apart from apartments, foreigners also buy land in the smaller coastal villages. Land prices are expected to increase sharply in the coming few years.

Interest in industrial land in Sofia is also increasing. Prices of such property vary between 50 and 100 euro a sq m.
The political crisis and holiday season are negatively affecting the property market. Both supply and demand are experiencing stagnation, agents said.

Unique mosaic discovered in Stara Zagora

A unique mosaic was discovered by archaeologists in the city of Stara Zagora in Bulgaria. The mosaic depicts the three figures of Bacchus and two bacchantes, all companions from the suite of God Dionysus. The mosaic is a unique finding for Bulgaria.
