There have been a lot of questions about whether British children can study if they move to Bulgaria. Other social topics have also been of great interest and we help you find some answers here!

It is a fact now that five British children were enrolled in the primary school 'St. St. Cyril and Methodius' in Elhovo this year. At the celebration the children were welcomed by the Principle of the school Mrs Atanasova. The kids will now be able to learn Bulgarian and also find new friends and integrate into the local society. The Bulgarian children find the British very interesting and everybody wants to have a British friend, so the foreign youngsters will soon be very popular.

The relationships between Bulgarian and
British people were strengthened by the marriage of Mariana and Patrick. Together they overcame the bureaucratic difficulties and under the sounds of Bulgarian music they celebrated their wedding with a lot of new Bulgarian friends in The Oasis restaurant in Elhovo. We are all very happy and congratulate them and as Patrick says, hadn't he started looking for properties near Elhovo, he would have never met Mariana. And they seem born to be together!

Dancing and partying in the Bulgarian countryside

We celebrated the birthday party of one of our British friends - Vanessa, who used to be our client. The guests were treated with typical British food and enjoyed the rhythms of a traditional Bulgarian and Socttish music. A local drummer sang songs and the cheerful people danced horo - one of the most popular Bulgarian dances. Strangely, at parties like this we all realise that our cultures are not so different and we feel very close and supportive of one another!

David and his family were greeted in their new house in the village of Sinapovo by the former owners in a traditional Bulgarian way - with flat pie and salt. Usually, the local people are very kind and warmly welcome the foreign buyers. The cultural differences disappear fast and everybody has good fun. So, all foreign property buyers are well-accepted.

We will continue to follow the social events in the areas and inform you on interesting topics. You can see some more pictures from the events below.

Good luck for the new owners - a very hospitable tradition

You can as well be a happy owner of a lovely house like these lucky people!
