The day of Stara Zagora

Bulgarian Properties- Stara Zagora office

On the fifth of October 2006 year, the citizens of Stara Zagora celebrated three events. As each year, they officially celebrated the day of Stara Zagora. To mark the occasion there was a fun fair in the town. This year was the 50-th jubilee of the national park – museum “Shipka - Buzludza”. It is no accident that the name of the town of Stara Zagora is written on the monument of the liberty. For the first time on the fifth of October this year we also celebrated the day of the Bulgarian teacher. The date coincides with the international day of the teacher.
Unfortunately, 15 years ago, on Stara Zagora’s day itself, one of the symbols of the town – the Stara Zagora’s opera-house, burned away. It is now in a process of restoration and will be finished soon.
And so, the ancient town of Stara Zagora met its holiday with young hopes and dreams! Bear the proud from the glorious past and the faith in the finest feature, the citizens built each day of their town with responsibility, work imagination and love!
