Investments in Real Estates in Bulgaria Are the Biggest

Over the first six months of the year the direct foreign investments in Bulgaria were 1.411 billion euro, sources from the Bulgarian National Bank (BNB) said. This is by about 75% more than they were in the same period of the last year. The share of foreign investments in real estates and business services is the biggest - 538.5 million euro. The investments in financial mediation reached 271.3 million euro and the ones in processing industry - 173.5 million euro. The investments from the UK make 20.3% of all foreign investments in Bulgaria, followed by the ones from Austria - 18,5% and the Netherlands - 11,3%. More than a half of the foreign investments are made through an increase in the capital of foreign enterprises in Bulgaria.
