Greek construction tie-in to invest 5 mln euro in Sofia development

The consortium formed by Greek companies Gek Group and Lamda Development plans to invest 5 mln euro in a 13,500 sq m site in Sofia, reports news outfit SeeNews.
No further details about the project were immediately available.
The consortium said it is awaiting to be granted the last of the necessary construction permits.
In addition to their current partnership, Gek and Lamda are working on stand-alone projects in Bulgaria.
Gek recently announced it would build a hotel and a motel in Vidin, North-western Bulgaria. The company also plans to build a hotel complex in ski resort Borovets and a shopping and office center in Sofia.
For its part, Lamda is joining equity fund Global Finance to develop a 70 mln euro 70,000 sq m office center in Sofia.
