The village of Bersin is located in the municipality of Kyustendil in the western part of the country. It is situated in the eastern foothills of the mountain Osogovo and is just 8 km from the town of Kyustendil. In the village there are remains of an ancient settlement, including an ancient necropolis.
Near the village of Bersin there is a dam, while in the village itself there is a large church and an architectural monument. There is also a community center with library and a school. In September each year here is celebrated St. Dimitar’s Day.
