The town of Yablanica is located in Northern Bulgaria and is part of Lovech Municipality, placed near the towns of Pleven, Teteven and Lukovit. Located in a mountainous area, the town lies 70 km from the capital Sofia, as it passes through the main road connecting the towns of Varna, Russe and Pleven. The town has a population of approximately 3000 inhabitants, who have access to all necessary facilities. The settlement of Yablanica was founded duirng the 18th century, however it was declared a town only in year 1968. Today it consists of several neighborhoods and since year 2004 it has a renovated central area and a city park.
