Recovery of the property market in Sofia
BULGARIAN PROPERTIES Head of Operations and Property Research Polina Stoykova gave an interview for the Bulgarian National Television about the situation on the property market in Sofia.
The real estate agency reported a significant growth in the number of real estate deals in the capital after the crash in the construction industry in 2008. The first signs of recovery were noticed during the last summer. Then the number of property deals increased by 15% in the first three months of this year.
Polina Stoykova MRICS, Head of Operations and Property Research in Bulgarian Properties Ltd. company confirmed: "The drop in the prices is more or less exhausted and there is fluctuation within a few percent that is not that significant, which indicates that now is the right time for a property purchase."
"The most sought after apartments in Sofia are the two-bedroom homes priced between 600 and 750 Euros per square meter and the main type of buyers are young families", Polina Stoykova said.
"We expect the market activity to increase and to witness a convincing recovery of the market," said Polina Stoykova.
