New Sports Complex to Be Built in Bulgaria’s Veliko Tarnovo
After the years of the property boom in the Bulgarian town of Veliko Tarnovo now the new trend is the construction of sports and entertainment complexes. The first such complex will be ready this fall and will be called Sportno Tarnovo. The complex has an area of 4.2 decares and is built on a private plot of land.
Only three months after receiving the building permit all three grounds with artificial turf will be ready. The turf will be similar to that at the legendary stadium San Siro in Milan, as well as to the artificial surface of the stadium of PSV Eindhoven.
Two of the pitches will be with a size of 20 x 40 meters and the third one will be of a multisport type with a size of 18 x 35 meters. They will all be lighted so that matches could be organized at night as well. According to the developer Sportno Tarnovo will host a Kamenitza Fan Cup match as early as this year.
Besides the three modern grounds the complex will also have squash halls, a gym, a tennis court and food areas set on three levels, as well as changing rooms and bathrooms. Sportno Tarnovo will also have a parking lot with over 100 parking spaces.
According to the investors the sports facility will be built in a few phases as in the end it will also have a swimming pool.
