Parvanov Visits Ireland

Bulgaria's President Georgi Parvanov will pay an official visit to Ireland and will get acquainted with Dublin's experience in the EU integration. According to the Press Office of the Presidency, Parvanov will lobby for Ireland's fast ratification of Bulgaria's EU Accession Treaty and will search opportunities for Irish investments in Bulgaria. President Parvanov will have a meeting with Irish business community at Marian Hotel in Dublin. He will try to convince them that Bulgaria will be a reliable business partner after its accession into the EU. Parvanov will also have meetings with his Irish counterpart Mary McAleese, Ireland's Prime Minister Bertie Ahern and other Irish politicians.
