Over 10,000 New Beds for the Tourists in Bansko

Bansko, southern Bulgaria, is turning into into a round-the-year resort, which enhanced the interest of the investors in this beautiful mountain town. Extensive construction works are underway in Bansko. The data of the municipal technical office shows that the built-up area in town is 206,000 square meters and the new accomodation capacity will be about 10,000 beds. Bansko now offers 6,100 beds. Investors from Russia, Italy and England show vivid interest in the resort. This has sent up the price of land. The land in Bansko now costs between 30 and 160 euro per square meter, while the built-up area is about 1,000 euro per square meter.
