Italian Consortium to Distribute Gas in Western Bulgaria
Two Italian companies are going to supply gas western Bulgaria, comprising the larger part of Vrac, Bansko, Goce Delcev etc as this was recently decided by the State commission for energy and water management (DKEVR), energyobserver.com reports.
The joint association of the “Acegaz” and “Konstrukcioni Dondi” companies was declared the winner in the competition for gas distribution in the “Zapad” region.
In the second place were Italian company “AMGA- Acienda Multiserizi” followed by Austrian firm EVN and Bulgarian “Overgaz Inc”.
The forecasts of the joint Italian association predict that in the first ten years, 61,623 mass consumers, 293 industrial consumers, and 43 state consumers from four administration fields in the region, will be connected. All participants in the competition were established companies with great experience in building and utilizing distribution networks.
The offers they submitted forecast building and exploiting most of the net for gas distribution within the first ten years.
They presented elaborate market analyses and methods for defining expected consumption of natural gas per year, business plans for ten years, financial models for 20 years, and the connection and delivery prices for the first five year period.
