Golf Course Project for 53 million Euros in Kableshkovo, near Sunny Beach
A new golf and entertainment complex costing 53 million euros will be constructed on land surrounding Kableshkovo village in the Pomorie Municipality. The golf complex will cover 200 hectatres and will be 10 km from the coastline. It will incorporate an 18-hole course, villas, hotels, swimming pools, a horse riding centre, tennis courts, a casino, a soccer pitch and polo grounds.
The facility is expected to be visited all year round by more than 5000 tourists and will have 800 full time staff. The project will be implemented within 2 years. It will massively improve the infrastructure of the municipality and will further promote the tourism in the Southern Black Sea region.
On the 21st November, the project was presented by its chief architect Mark Jones, who has also designed some of the largest golf courses in the world in the Bahamas, Abu Dabi and others.
In other related news, it was announced that the Golf Plus company will build a golf course on 3.7 hectare site in Bansko, the ski resort town located some 160 km south of Bulgaria's capital, Sofia. The transfer of the land plot was approved at the last session of the municipal council.
The investment will be some 5 million levs. Golf Plus is co-owned by air carrier Air Sofia and Fisko Group and already operates golf courses in Ihtiman, near Sofia, and in Sliven, South-eastern Bulgaria.
