Upon entry to Bulgaria, a foreigner should declare in writing the purpose and address of the stay, under changes to the regulations for applying the Law on Foreigners that the government approved Tuesday.

The amount of investment that foreign investors, who want to apply for permanent residence in Bulgaria should make, is increased from USD 250 000 to 500 000.
