Backward Bulgarian Village Set to Become Tourist Hotspot
A central Bulgarian village, far away from the modern civilization, is on its way to attract the attention of a large number of investors from both Bulgaria and abroad.
The village of Voynezha, whose inhabitants still do not have telephones in their homes, proved to be an attractive place for investments over the last year, local media reported.
A hotel, a recreation complex and another two villa complexes will emerge in the small picturesque village nestling in the Stara Planina Mountain.
One of the village's advantages is its favorable location - it is near the passage of the republic but still, not too close to it.
Local people are optimistic about the future since the tourist flow is expected to create a considerable number of new jobs.
