Parliament finally votes in Law on sojourn of EU citizens in Bulgaria

After Bulgaria joins the EU citizens from EU countries will be able to stay in the country with an identification card and a passport for a term of three months. This was the decision of the Parliament in Sofia by voting in a Law on entry, sojourn, and leave of EU citizens and their family members in and from Bulgaria. A ban on their and their families’ entry or extradition will only be resorted to in a real threat to the country’s national security.
