The document is part of the actions related to the creation of a Black Sea ring corridor - a multimodal transport network, and includes the maintenance, reconstruction, development, modernization and new construction of a main and secondary road infrastructure.
The length of the Black Sea ring highway is approximately 7,000 km. The main route could pass through the cities of Istanbul (Turkey) – Samsun (Turkey) – Trabzon (Turkey) – Batumi (Georgia) – Poti (Georgia) – Novorossiysk (Russia) – Rostov-upon-Don (Russia) – Taganrog (Russia) – Mariupol (Ukraine) – Melitopol (Ukraine) – Odessa (Ukraine) – Chisinau (Moldova) – Bucharest (Romania) – Haskovo (Bulgaria) – Edirne (Turkey) – Istanbul (Turkey) and Komotini (Greece) – Alexandroupolis (Greece) – Istanbul (Turkey).
