Skiing/Snowboarding: Bansko has undergone huge progression over the last decade, with modern piste management methods and lift technology in place across the 70km of skiing area. Founded in the 10th century the it is regarded as one of Bulgaria’s most important cultural, historical and architectural monuments.
If you like the beach you can easily pop over the border to Greece, in just two hours you can be sipping a cocktail on the wide sandy beaches of the bay of Kavala looking over to the island of Thassos.
