01.04.2011 More Interest in Rural Tourism in Bulgaria

The development of rural tourism allowed the smaller settlements like Dobrinishte, Kovachevitsa, Leshten, Momchilovtsi, etc. to develop as well. There are great conditions both in private houses and in bigger developments.
The contact with nature, the ecological food, and the tranquility are the prerequisites which make tourists prefer this type of holiday.
In order to show the cultural heritage investments are made for the development of rural tourism in Strandzha Region (southeastern Bulgaria), in Dobrudzha (northeastern Bulgaria), as well as in northwestern and southwestern Bulgaria.
