Sofia Ring Mall to open in September 2014

2014-04-01

Sofia Ring Mall – the new shopping, recreation and sports center in the Bulgarian capital, will open its doors for visitors on 4 September, 2014.

This is the first of the so-called "open air" malls. The green areas constitute 30% of the whole project of 172 000 sq.m. One of the most important features of these open spaces is that they use as much natural light and ventilation as possible.

The open terraces will allow the visitors to feel in touch with the nature outside while shopping, having dinner or drinking coffee. Sofia Ring Mall will also have a 15 000 sq. m. green park with an artificial lake where the customers will be able to walk and to enjoy the closeness to the Vitosha Mountains.

The new complex is connected with the first and only IKEA store in Bulgaria and will include over 200 stores, a 10-screen cinema multiplex and a parking lot with more than 3500 parking places.

The key tenants of the new shopping complex includethe Greek department store chain NOTOS, the chains H&M, Piccadilly, Technomarket, Mr.Bricolage, Yavor, New Look, Intersport.

The Sofia Ring Mall experience will offer a mixture of shopping, entertainment, and spending quality time with your family and friends combined with the breathtaking views towards the city and the Vitosha Mountains.
