08.04.2009 Construction of Danube Bridge 2 Continues at Full Steam

After the winter months during which the construction of Danube Bridge 2 slowed down due to the harsh climatic conditions now it is back to its normal pace and the construction works are progressing fast.
The Mayor of the Bulgarian town of Vidin Roumen Vidov said that the construction works of the bridge are progressing with a satisfactory pace. At the moment the pilots in the non-navigable part of the Bulgarian section of the river are being constructed.
If there are no problems related to high waters the deadlines for the construction of the bridge should be kept, Mayor Vidov added. According to him the bridge will be ready in 2010.

The deals with properties in Vidin (Northwestern Bulgaria) are increasing, as for some of the quarters this year the increase is up to 80%. This is what Polina Stoykova – operations manager in a real estate agency – told Radio Focus -Vidin.
