10.08.2004 Year 2009: Borovets - top winter and summer resort

In 2009 Borovets will look much different from today - the resort will spread from the town of Samokov to the village of Beli Iskar and will be divided into three levels, offering accommodation according to the financial status of the tourists. The plan of the architects is to build 12 or 7 new lifts for the transfer of 15 600 or respectfully 11 100 skiers per hour, as well as 19 new pistes with total length of 65 km.
The mass construction of buildings will be avoided.

More interest in agricultural land in Vidin region

The deals with properties in Vidin (Northwestern Bulgaria) are increasing, as for some of the quarters this year the increase is up to 80%. This is what Polina Stoykova – operations manager in a real estate agency – told Radio Focus -Vidin.

Unique mosaic discovered in Stara Zagora

A unique mosaic was discovered by archaeologists in the city of Stara Zagora in Bulgaria. The mosaic depicts the three figures of Bacchus and two bacchantes, all companions from the suite of God Dionysus. The mosaic is a unique finding for Bulgaria.
