House prices in 30 countries for the period 2000-2010: Bulgaria among the countries with biggest growth
Like in many other countries around the world house prices in Bulgaria went through a phase of increase followed by a slump in the first decade of the 21st century. Last year BULGARIAN PROPERTIES presented data of the Bulgarian housing market for this period in a review of the last decade, which is available here.
In the last few months we compiled a data base and devised a methodology for analyzing house prices in other countries as well. With the data we follow the change in house prices in 30 countries in the period 2000-2010 to see how the housing markets have been developing globally and where Bulgaria stands in the ranking of the fastest growing residential markets.
Results of the research
This is the summarized data of the changes in house prices in the 30 countries for which we have data for the period 2000-2010. It starts with the countries where prices have grown most. We have also shown the average nominal annual growth in house prices for each of the thirty countries.
