BULGARIAN PROPERTIES Price Indexes – September 2012

Polina Stoykova, Chief Operations Manager and Head of Research of BULGARIAN PROPERTIES comments the latest data: ‘Good news is that the markets in Sofia and Sunny Beach will be finishing the year with signs of recovery and some positive annual price changes over the past few months. Apartments in Bansko retain the negative trend but the pace of decrease is now slowing down.’

BULGARIAN PROPERTIES' indexes measure apartments listing prices in 4 main locations - Sofia, Varna, Sunny Beach and Bansko in order to provide timely information about the market trends in the biggest city and vacation housing markets in Bulgaria.

The key points for each index for September 2012 are as follows:

Sofia
• Change in last month: -1.38%
• Change in last 12 months: +6.62%
• Change from the highest value: -38.88%

The current BULGARIAN PROPERTIES Index value for the listing prices of apartments in Sofia for September 2012 is 61.12 points. The average monthly listing price of the apartments in the capital in September is 914 Euro/sq.m.

Varna
• Change in last month: +1.74%
• Change in last 12 months: -5.54%
• Change from the highest value: -42.58%

The current BULGARIAN PROPERTIES Index value for the listing prices of apartments in Varna for September 2012 is 57.42 points. The average monthly listing price of the apartments in the second biggest city in Bulgaria is 855 Euro/sq.m.

Sunny Beach
• Change in last month: -1.51%
• Change in last 12 months: +6.94%
• Change from the highest value: -38.87%

The current BULGARIAN PROPERTIES Index value for the listing prices of apartments in Sunny Beach for September 2012 is 61.13 points. The average monthly listing price of the apartments in the biggest beach resort in Bulgaria is 740 Euro/sq.m.

Bansko
• Change in last month: -2.42%
• Change in last 12 months: -8.29%
• Change from the highest value: -58.14%

The current BULGARIAN PROPERTIES Index value for the listing prices of apartments in Bansko for September 2012 is 41.86 points. The average monthly listing price of the apartments in the biggest ski resort in Bulgaria is 535 Euro/sq.m.
