BULGARIAN PROPERTIES' top specialists in an interview for TV7
BULGARIAN PROPERTIES’ managers and top property specialists Polina Stoykova and Magdalena Tosheva commented the holiday home market in Bulgaria on national TV7 on 14th January 2013.
Real estate agencies have announced unprecedented low prices for vacation properties. The prices of holiday homes start from EUR 250 per square meter for apartments in fully finished and operational complexes.
Magdalena Tosheva, a property consultant at BULGARIAN PROPERTIES, receives dozens of requests from customers for properties in promotion. The buyers interested in the ski resort of Bansko are looking for apartments located mainly close to the Gondola lift.
It turns out that you can find a fully finished, furnished apartment in the ski resort in operational complex with a good location. Prices start from EUR 250 per square meter.
However, if you want to conclude a really good deal, it is better to buy a beach property during the winter months. Prices over winter fell by 5 per cent compared to the summer season.
Buying a holiday home in order to rent it out is not a reason for such a large investment, as profitability is not as large, Polina Stoykova, Chief Operations Manager of BULGARIAN PROPERTIES, added. At best, it can be expected to cover annual fees and taxes.
Mainly, properties in the resorts are bought as a second home rather than an investment. Such is the trend with the villas on the outskirts of major cities. More and more people want to escape from the daily stress of the city life. Maybe that's why real estate agents recorded a 40% growth in rural houses sales.
Now is the right moment for good deals on the real estate market, experts said – the buyer dominates and the luxury are becoming even more accessible.
