29.11.2006 SOFIA AIRPORT`S TERMINAL READY FOR CHRISTMAS

The whole modernized complex will be put into operations at the end of January.
Stanchev explained that the old terminal will serve only low-cost airlines and charter flights.
The airline companies, which fly to and from Sofia airport, and their offices will be gradually re-directed from the old to the new terminal, he added.
Baggage conveyors and check-in counters will start working the moment the first airline company takes off.

A new terminal is planned to be constructed at Varna Airport at the end of the summer. It will be built by the concessionaire of Varna Airport and the terminal will cost 30 million Euro.
