Article by Teddy Kamenova, PR of Bulgarian Properties Ltd.

Bulgarian Properties Ltd. decided to sponsor a young and perspective athlete for the European Championship for Power Triathlon in Prague this year. The 26-year old, Mr. Kostadin Bahchevanov is a well-known name in the sports of Power Triathlon and Body Building and a representative of the Power Triathlon School of his coach Evgeni Popov.
In Prague he won the bronze medal and dedicated it to Bulgarian Properties Team and his coach!

He is an optimistic, persistent and highly motivated young man who has already won many sports cups and is destined to try the taste of many more victories to come. Mr. Bahchevanov has been 2 times Absolute champion of Bulgaria at Power triathlon (2001 and 2004), 6 times Republican champion at Power triathlon (consecutively from 1999 to 2004), 4 times Republican champion at Weight lifting from lying position (consecutively from 2000 to 2003), Vice champion at Body Building Championship on the territory of Bulgaria for the period 1998 – 2003. Besides the National Championships, Mr. Bahchevanov has also taken part in several international ones: European Championship for Power Triathlon 2000 /young men/ - 5th place, World Championship for Power Triathlon /men/ 2002 – Slovakia, International Tournament for Power Triathlon – Slovakia 2002 – 6th place, European Championship for Power Triathlon – 4th place.

All his life Kostadin dedicated to sport: he has been training volleyball, wrestling, and karate. From 2001 till now the successful sportsman works as a fitness instructor at Sports Center “Ego” and is author of many articles, sports and training programs with different exercises, as well as nourishing regimes, published in all specialized magazines for fitness and body building. His programs and experience help many boys who are keen to practice these two sports.
Kostadin Bahchevanov has given many interviews for the monthly magazines “Fitness and Body Building” and “Olympus”. Many other articles for his achievements have been published in “7 days sport” and other national sports newspapers.

Kostadin is positive that Power Triathlon is a sport which requires full dedication, but needs sponsorship because the equipment, the trainings and the rehabilitation after that are very expensive. Mr. Bahchevanov’s greatest pain is that this sport does not receive any support from the state and the Ministry of Sports. For several times while on Championships, the athletes had to pay not only their hotel expenses, but also the doping tests.
Bulgarian Properties Team decided to invest in this talented and highly motivated sportsman and help him take part in the European Championship. The medal proves it was worth it!
