The great supply of properties at discounted prices – this is what everyone who has decided to buy a new home in the last few months can see. Even at a passing glance of the offers of the various real estate agencies one will see the crossed out old prices and the new offers of the sellers written next to them.

The difference in the prices sometimes reaches as much as 60% depending on the property. For some of them it is 2,000 Euros but for others it reaches a few hundred thousand Euros. There is significant price decrease both for residential properties which are in the process of being built and for luxuriously finished houses and residential buildings. Of course, the reasons for the mass “promotions” are the low property demand due to the crisis and the still limited bank lending in the sector. The choice of properties is so big that anyone with cash can negotiate a property for a bargain price.

In the site of BULGARIAN PROPERTIES there is a special section for discounted properties and the number of the offers that are added there each week is almost the same as the number of newly published offers.

Luxury real estate agency LUXIMOTI has also made a selection of discounted properties which includes properties for sale and rent.

The observations of the experts in the branch show that the probability of a sale of a property whose price is discounted increases. In this case both sides win – the buyer concludes a bargain deal and the seller finalizes a deal despite the difficult market conditions.

Many of the “promotional” homes are luxuriously furnished, with new furniture and electric appliances which saves the potential buyer a lot of time. This way the buyer can move in immediately after the conclusion of the deal. For example, a luxuriously furnished two-bed apartment with an area of 126 sq.m. in central Sofia is offered for 330,000 Euro as the price has been decreased by 120,000 Euro. The property attracts with its wonderful location and the thoughtfulness put into each detail.

Another luxurious two-bed apartment with an area of 80 sq.m. located close to the Doktorski Pametnik area (the center of Sofia) was priced 380,000 Euro as now it is sold for only 185,000 Euro. “Each room is a masterpiece of its own which blends into the general artistic ambience of the French style”, the offer reads.

Apartments in the gated development Belvedere Holiday Club in Bansko, located about 400 m from the Gondola, are now offered at prices starting from 34,957 Euro, the old price being 55,736 Euro.

You can buy a new apartment in the Venus development for 31,083 Euro; Venus is set at the foot of Vitosha Mountain in Sofia, not far from one of the city’s main boulevards - Cherni Vrah.

One of the best bargain offers is for a one-bedroom apartment in the fully finished Belmont complex in the resort of Bansko. Its current price is 28,000 Euro as its initial price was 76,000 Euro.

A wonderful home with a perfect location carrying the spirit of old Sofia has been reduced from 550,000 Euro to 189,000 Euro. The property is set on the central Leonardo Da Vinci Street and offers an area of 100 sq.m. The property has functional layout of the rooms – two large bedrooms, a living room with a balcony and a large bathroom with a lavatory.
