Ford Moto-Pfohe’s Executive Director Elected in UEFA Marketing Division

Atanas Fournadzhiev is the Executive Director of Ford Moto-Pfohe, member of the Board of Directors of the Varna-based Pfohe Mall and Manager of KP Immobilien, owner of the Belvedere Holiday Club set in Bulgaria’s premier winter resort of Bansko.

For more than a decade now Mr. Fournadzhiev has also been dedicated to the development of the Bulgarian football. He started his career in the Bulgarian Football Union (BFU) as a member and chairman of the Disciplinary Committee. At the last congress he was elected Vice-President and member of the Executive Committee.

Recently Mr. Fournadzhiev’s high level of professionalism was recognized by UEFA. He was elected as a member of UEFA’s Marketing Division whose Chairman is Frantisek Laurinec from Slovakia. Borislav Mihaylov will be First Vice-President of UEFA’s Refereeing Division; the Chairman of the Division is Angel Maria Villar from Spain. Mihail Kasabov is a member of the Hat-trick Committee whose Chairman is Alan Hansen (Denmark). Ivaylo Yovkov is still a member of the Appellate Committee together with the Vice-President of the head office Yordan Lechkov. The Chair of this Committee is the legendary Franz Beckenbauer.

During the opening ceremony of UEFA’s first session in the European head quarters Atanas Fournadzhiev received a gold badge personally by Michel Platini who is the present President of UEFA.

The legendary French football player had a long conversation with the Executive Director of Ford Moto-Pfohe and showed interest not only in the present state of Bulgarian football but also in the base of Bulgaria’s national team.
