32,000 Euro on average for property in the Bulgarian seaside resorts

Property deals in the Bulgarian seaside resorts are concluded at the average price of 32,000 Euro, according to a research carried out by BULGARIAN PROPERTIES.

Almost all purchases are paid with money owned by the buyers and very rarely with mortgages. The banks are still skeptical about funding of holiday property purchases. The buyers are looking for properties mainly for their own usage and many of them prefer not to rent out their properties. This is valid for the Russian and Bulgarian buyers.

However, Brits are looking for profitability and are asking about the yield. Although rental income is lower in Bulgaria, it should be noted that properties in Bulgaria are sold at bargain prices compared to those in other countries and even if they do not offer good returns, they are the most affordable properties for a wide range of potential buyers.

According to the analysis, in recent months it was registered an increased interest in luxury properties on the first line mainly south of Burgas – in Sozopol and Lozenets. There were more sales of properties over 100 000 Euro as well. About 80% of the deals with holiday properties along the seaside are done with Russians, while the interest is particularly high in the areas of Varna and Burgas. The buyers at the Black Sea coast are looking mostly to buy apartments, but there is also an interest in houses near the sea, in good condition and ready to move in.
