The Black sea golf course will spread on a total area of over 2,000,000 sq.m. Pomorie Municipality will participate in the project by providing the land. Apart from the golf playground the investors plan to construct a mini holiday village with hotels, villas, a casino, a race course and a polo pitch. According to the initial estimations, about 53 million EUR are to be invested in the project. The design is by the well-known architect Mark Jones who has prepared the projects for the best golf courses in the world, the ones in Abu Dhabi (United Arab Emirates) and the Bahamas.
The Black sea golf course will be with 18 holes, par 72 (the standard number of strokes set for each hole on a golf course, or for the entire course). The investors plan to construct their own infrastructure. The complex, which will be built in 3 phases, will provide between 800 and 1,000 working positions for the local people.
Rudnik village is one of the settlements which will benefit most from the project as it is just next to it. Not only the new infrastructure will boost the economy but also the new job opportunities.
