Shkorpilovtsi Village

The name of the village dates back from the past following the names of the famous brothers Shkorpil, great explorers. The old name of the place was Fandaklii, from Turkish language, meaning Hazelnut Garden. There are remains of four ancient villages nearby.

Skorpilovzi is a peaceful place for summer vacation, with the excellent combination of sea and mountain meadows. There are many hotels and guest houses in the region.

The place is Nature Reserve. There are remains of an old bridge, now under the sea level. This place provides numerous opportunities for forest camping.
