The town of Sozopol lies on a small rocky peninsula in the southern area of the Bourgas Bay. Every summer the ancient town welcomes numerous tourists from the country and abroad. Here they find lovely beaches, cobbled streets, beautiful old houses overlooking the sea, as well as numerous restaurants, bars and cafes.
Each year at the beginning of September, the town of Sozopol hosts the famous International Art Festival "Apolonia", an attractive event for all interested in culture and art.
