New hotels under construction in Central Balkan region

Two hotels and a dozen guest villas are currently under construction in the resort village of Ribaritsa, said Daria Zarichinova, president of the ReMark tour club.
Ribaritsa is part of the Balkania tourist region co-founded by the Troyan Teteven and Apriltsi municipalities in the Central Balkan Range.
The new Venika Palace hotel in the Chiflika resort will be completed by the end of the year, said the official.
The mineral springs in the Chiflika and Shipkovo areas will allow the region to be marketed as a destination for spa tourism, said Zarichinova. The Teteven municipality estimates that the region was visited by 50,000 tourists in '04.
