Greek Firm Aikon Builds Hotel in Vidin, Bulgaria

Aikon, a unit of Greek construction, energy and real estate group Gek, plans to build a 5-star hotel in Vidin, North-western Bulgaria, said Aikon director Ivan Vilfan, "Dnevnik a.m." reports.

The company also intends to build a motel in the vicinity of the future bridge link with Romanian city Calafat.
Vilfan said 4 mln euro have been raised for the Vidin project.

Elsewhere in Bulgaria, Aikon will build retail and administrative center in Sofia and will buy a 11 ha site in ski resort Borovets.
