A salute to British Investors in Bulgaria

AS the Financial Times put it earlier this year, “an Englishman’s second home in the sun may have long been his casa, but in the 21st century it is more likely to be his dom or kuca”.
This is the prediction of overseas property experts, who are seeing a gradual switch in demand for second homes from the traditional sunspots of Southern Spain and France to the emerging markets of central Europe, including Croatia and Bulgaria.

Bulgaria has become a favoured destination for international holiday home investors. It seems that so far they have not even been bothered by the dark forecasts of damages to this country’s environment through excessive construction.
