Vidin hosts International Theatre Fest

Bulgaria’s town of Vidin is to host for the fourth time the Comedy on the Balkans international theatre festival, Bulgarian news agency BTA reported.

Vidin municipality and the municipal drama theatre have organised the festival, to be held from October 16 to October 26 2006, BTA said.

The festival was part of the celebrations of the day of town of Vidin, October 26.

Eleven plays are to be performed during the festival. Theatrical companies from Serbia, Romania and Macedonia would participate, BTA said.

Some of Bulgaria’s most prominent actors are to be guests, including Sroyanka Moutafova, Vassil Popov and Krustyo Lafazanov.
