Over 800,000 Tourists Expected to Visit Bulgaria’s Ski Resort of Bansko This Season

Bansko. ‘At the moment all ski equipment is being subjected to reparation and maintenance. We are working hard in the mountain in view of the preparation for the winter season’, the Mayor of the Bulgarian ski resort of Bansko Aleksandar Kravarov said in an interview for FOCUS Radio – Pirin.
Kravarov added that a shooting ground and a winter stadium are being constructed for this year’s European biathlon championship.
More than 750 000 tourists visited Bansko and his ski slopes last year. Expectations are that this year the number of tourists would be much higher.
