The resort is being built in the Sredna Gora Valley in the municipality of Stara Zagora located in South Bulgaria. This is a part of the Upper Thracian Valley and blessed with short, mild winters and dry, warm summers in the center of Bulgarian Culture.

Natural subterranean mineral water springs are found here where the Stara Zagora mineral baths are located. The clear fresh mountain air and agreeable climate is also conducive to treatment for respiratory illnesses. EskiZara™ Golf and Spa Resort will become a high profile destination for people who enjoy a relaxed atmosphere away from the busiest tourist spots.

The Stara Zagora Mineral Area is a balneological (use of thermal waters) resort surrounded by tranquil tree lined streets and forests. In the immediate vicinity a Roman bath from the 2nd century was found, which the citizens of ancient Augusta Trayana have used. The resort is also a departure point for a whole-day hiking tour along a marked track to Kavakliika Chalet in the Surnena Sredna Gora Mountain.

The valley is undeveloped and picturesque, easy to reach, a few minutes from the newly constructed main east west highway. The EskiZara™ Golf and Spa Resort is in the center of the location which has opened its first four star hotel in 2006.
