Over EUR 20m invests a British company into a golf course with a holiday village in Stara Zagora, the start of the construction works is for Nov. 2006. The investor is EskiZara TM LTD. The project will be implemented together with the Agency for regional economic development - Stara Zagora. The name of the project is the”Valley of the mineral springs”. The company owns a real property in the area of the Stara Zagora spa resort - the buildings of the former post office, the medical centre and some free land.

EskiZara™ Golf & Spa Resort is a new and exciting concept in Bulgarian Golf destinations combining the very best of Bulgarian Heritage, Beauty and History with an important Mineral Spa Resort.

The resort is being built in the Sredna Gora Valley in the municipality of Stara Zagora located in South Bulgaria. This is a part of the Upper Thracian Valley and blessed with short, mild winters and dry, warm summers in the center of Bulgarian Culture.

Natural subterranean mineral water springs are found here where the Stara Zagora mineral baths are located. The waters are beneficial in the healing of neurological, gynecological, kidney and intestinal ailments. The clear fresh mountain air and agreeable climate is also conducive to treatment for respiratory illnesses.
