Annual Financial Reports for Company Owners

According to the new Trage Register Law that came into force in Bulgaria in the beginning of 2008, all new and existing companies in Bulgaria must register in the new online trade register. The deadline for re-registration is 31.12.2010. If this is not done, the companies will be removed from the register of companies in Bulgaria resulting in loss of their assets (properties for example).

When re-registering all Bulgarian companies their annual financial reports for previous years starting from 2007 must also be submitted up to 3 months after the re-registration. This must be done regardless of the year of re-registration (2008, 2009 or 2010). Every company must submit and publish on the Trade Register site (www.brra.bg) its annual financial statements for 2007, 2008 and 2009 and the fee for this is 25 Euros for each year for which they publish statements (starting with the year 2007).
