MAJOR LOCATIONS IN BULGARIA

NOVO SELO

VIDIN

The village Novo Selo is a popular location at the North-West of Bulgaria. Situated on the bank of Europe's second biggest river Danube, this village offers good recreation opportunities - swimming, sunbathing, fishing, sailing, water sports, etc.

Novo Selo is also known as the best wine grape production area in the region. There is a big wine factory in the village. Also a port for ships at the river.

There are around 2000 inhabitants (many young people). The village has 2 churches, school, restaurants, cafes, disco, food and other shops, etc. The road from Vidin is very good and it takes less than 30 minutes to reach the village by car. Regular bus transport is available to Vidin and the villages around. Many Bulgarian people have holiday homes here and the village gets really crowded during the weekends and throughout the whole summer when many people come here for their vacations.

Last years few foreigners have also purchased holiday homes here.

Novo Selo has very good potential to become a preferred village for the foreign buyers. There are good holiday options to develop this village as a destination for rural, fishing or wine tourism.
